Jolie - Wall Hanging Quilt Pattern

Jolie is french for pretty - the perfect description for this lovely little wallhanging. Perfect to showcase a large print - the pieced blocks make a statement without overwhelming the feature fabric you choose for the alternate blocks. I couldn't resist a Paris themed fabric, but there are so many options, you will want to make more than one of these!

My pattern includes illustrations and an easy sew and flip technique to make creating accurate blocks simple and fun. Black and white fabrics look great in this design as do a variety of other colors and prints. Just pick a large print that you like and choose the colors that work with it.

MATERIALS:
1/8 Yard Dark solid or tone on tone for corners
6 inches Medium solid or tone on tone for star points
3/8 yard Background fabric
1/3 yard Dark print for diamonds
1/8 yard Light print for corner triangles
3/8 yard Large print for alternating squares
5/8 yard Outer border
1/4 yard contrasting print for inner border
