Checker Twist Lap Quilt or Table Runner

Checker Twist is a fun quilt I designed to highlight Island Batik's Harvest Blue line - comining checkered fabric with the wonky setting of the blocks creates a quilt with so much movement that you can't help but look at it in amazement!  The piecing is fairly simple, it's all rotary cutting, with flying geese and half square triangles. This quilt is perfect for a confident beginner - only 12 blocks, and you have your top ready to go.  Simply add the borders and you have a 49 x 65 lap quilt.  Just want to make a few blocks?  I also include directions to make a table runner using just four blocks.  This just takes 1/4 yards of 8 fabrics, (which includes the binding)  Have fun and learn to set your blocks slightly off center for a great look!
