Polar Elegance Quilt Pattern, Blue and White Batik

Polar Elegance is a fun quilt to make, with just 5 oversize blocks, it's actually quick to piece and goes together quickly.  Using a variety of shades of blue and white fabric, it has a nice "wintery" look to it.  The blocks are set on point, then bordered with a lighter blue.  

This quilt finishes at 55 x 55, a nice lap size.  This quilt is a good project for a confident beginner, it uses some half square triangles, but the piecing is simple.
